Regional Sales - Bakery
Job Overview:
We seek someone who is a time served baker and now wishes to work more sociable hours as an Account manager and Field sales person within the bakery industry.
As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships with clients, and closing sales deals. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills, strong sales acumen, and the ability to work independently.
Area to cover is N England from Leeds / Bradford up to Newcastle (not so often) down to Derbyshire; . The area around Leeds will be most frequented
Monday to Friday hours to suit but is a full time role. Work from home but on the road most days.
Responsibilities:
- Look after existing customers
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the designated territory
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients
- Work with bakers, helping them with ingredient issues.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
- Meet or exceed sales targets on a regular basis
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the sales process including helping with logistical issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities
Skills:
- Skilled baker - please do not apply unless you are / have been a baker of bread.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Proficient in IT tools and software applications
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable deals for the company
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey product information and build rapport with clients
- Customer service-oriented mindset to address client needs and concerns
- Organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and sales activities simultaneously
- Full clean driving license essential, car provided.
